Ballet Basics is an exciting and creative experience that introduces young dancers ages 3-6 to the art of ballet. The camp experience also includes crafts, story time, and choreography correlating with the theme of the week.
In summer 2024, we’re offering two themes: Once Upon A Time, and Ocean Adventures.

The Young Dancer Intensive (ages 7-9) and Junior Intensive (ages 9-14) broaden dancers’ perspectives with a variety of classes including ballet, modern, jazz, and musical theater. Dancers will focus on improving artistry and technique with instruction from our supportive faculty.

This week of intensive study offers dancers daily technique classes, classical variation setting, artistic coaching and character development by our master faculty. The intensive is designed for advanced dancers ages 14 and up, and dancers must audition for admission into the program.

Adults can join the summer fun too! Texas Ballet Theater offers classes and camps for adults of all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers. Take individual classes or challenge yourself at a three-night intensive.

Over the course of our programs, students ages 12-22 will take part in a concentrated, comprehensive program with TBT Artistic Staff, Faculty and renowned guest instructors. The Texas Ballet Theater Summer Intensive is designed to refine technique, artistic expression and musicality to prepare well-rounded, classically trained dancers for a professional career.
Incoming Studio Training Company and Professional Training Division dancers are encouraged to attend the TBT Summer Intensive.
