Lecture Demonstrations

Educating groups on the art of ballet

See Ballet in a New Way

Lecture Demonstrations are part lecture, part performance that introduce your group to the art of ballet, typically lasting 45-60 minutes. Audiences are led through an introduction to a ballet class from barre to center, presented performance pieces danced by Texas Ballet Theater dancers, and participate in a Q&A session with the dancers.

Texas Ballet Theater can bring a Lecture Demonstration to your school for a fee. To schedule a Lecture Demonstration, please contact Community@TexasBallet.org. Your venue does not need to have a stage, but it will need to provide enough space for the dancers to adequately present and perform.
