Full Season Packages Now Available
The Texas Ballet Theater Summer Intensive is designed to refine technique, artistic expression and musicality to prepare well-rounded, classically trained dancers for a professional career. Over the course of our summer programs, students ages 12-22 take part in a concentrated, comprehensive program with TBT Artistic Staff, faculty, and renowned guest instructors. The program takes place in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Summer Intensive features a ballet-focused, comprehensive curriculum inspired by the Royal Academy of Dance. Students will take daily classes in ballet and either pointe, variations, or men’s classes. Other classes include modern, jazz, partnering, Pilates, Latin ballroom, and Broadway. The curriculum is rounded out by seminars with topics such as injury prevention, nutrition, and behavioral health.

The 2024 3-week program is for dancers ages 12-14. This shorter intensive program is for the younger student, who wishes to train extensively with our incredible teaching staff, while being away from home for less time. This week of intensive study offers dancers daily technique classes, classical variation setting, artistic coaching and character development by our master faculty. Dancers study multiple variations throughout the week. Ideal for the dancer wishing to prepare to successfully compete at international ballet competitions or simply to grow both technically and artistically. Video Auditions are no longer being accepted for the 2024 Summer Intensive and Classical Variations Intensive.
Students will receive their acceptance status and registration instructions, if applicable, via email within ten business days. A non-refundable deposit will be due upon registration to hold a guaranteed space in the program.

As a courtesy to participating students and families, Texas Ballet Theater Summer Intensive works diligently to clearly communicate the true cost of each program.
The fees associated with the 2024 Summer Intensives are as follows.
Audition Fee: $40
Registration Fee: $150
Health and Wellness Fee: $50
Housing Registration Fee, if applicable: $100
Students will have the opportunity to participate in off-campus activities, which may include Six Flags, Texas Rangers games, Fort Worth Zoo, Main Event, Fort Worth Stockyards, Fort Worth shopping and dining at The Shops at Clearfork, and more.
As a courtesy to participating students and families, Texas Ballet Theater Summer Intensive works diligently to clearly communicate the true cost of each program. All students will pay tuition, a registration fee, and a health and wellness fee. Other optional purchases include housing, activities, merchandise, and final performance videos.
Housing is available on the beautiful campus of Texas Christian University, just steps from the Erma Lowe Hall dance building. Housing is optional.
2024 dates: Check in is on June 16, and check out for the 5-week program is by July 20.
