Dance Dialogues: A Conversation with Kenneth Tindall

Texas Ballet Theater opens its first Dance Dialogues of the season with an intimate evening in the Dance Lab dedicated to Casanova, the opulent full-length ballet by award-winning choreographer Kenneth Tindall. Join us as Tindall sits down with TBT Artistic Director Tim O’Keefe to discuss how he brought the story of Casanova to life in this ballet based on Ian Kelly’s acclaimed biography of the same name, followed by a live showing of excerpts performed by TBT dancers.

Dance Dialogues: Behind the Seams of Tutu Chic

Texas Ballet Theater opens its first Dallas edition of Dance Dialogues with an intimate evening at our Preston Center Studio dedicated to Tutu Chic, our annual fashion show where ballet and design merge on stage. Join us as Artistic Director Tim O’Keefe discusses the ideas, collaborations, and craft behind bringing Tutu Chic to life, followed by a live showing of excerpts performed by TBT dancers.

Artistic Director Tim O’Keefe is joined by a special guest to celebrate the artistry of Ben Stevenson, OBE, TBT’s longest serving Artistic Director and the choreographer behind the beloved classic that is Coppélia. The conversation will explore Stevenson’s legacy and the role of pas de deux in his ballets, followed by a live showcase of pas de deux excerpts from Coppélia, with the possibility of additional excerpts from across his body of work.
