Why Dance?

Enhancing Our Community

Over the years, Texas Ballet Theater has established itself as a cultural cornerstone in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. With a strong commitment to excellence in dance education and performance, TBT has consistently expanded its programs to meet the needs of aspiring dancers and audiences alike.

To support our growth and continue delivering world-class training and performances, TBT is proud to share our state-of-the-art studio expansions in both Dallas and Fort Worth. These new facilities will not only enhance the learning environment for students but also strengthen TBT’s presence as a beacon for dance in North Texas.

“Dance is life. It allows dancers to transport love and art to an audience and create beauty for them. Dance connects the mind and body and brings people together to make something incredible.”

Principal Dancer Andre Silva

Our New Facilities

Fort Worth Studio

Scheduled for a phased opening in 2026, Texas Ballet Theater’s reimagined Fort Worth studio will span 65,000 square feet of purpose-built space. By spring 2026, approximately 70% of the facility—including seven school studios, a dance lab doubling as a performance space, administrative offices, and costume production areas—will be complete and operational, ensuring continuity for TBT’s school programs. The remaining company studios, a Pilates studio, a physical therapy suite, and company locker rooms will open in fall 2026, supporting the professional company’s ongoing training and performances. This strategic expansion strengthens TBT’s commitment to delivering world-class ballet education and performances while fostering community engagement.

Dallas Studio at Preston Center

Open now, our new Dallas School brings Texas Ballet Theater to the heart of the Preston Center neighborhood. The 15,000-square-foot school features a dance lab, five class studios, a student library, and locker rooms, enhancing the learning environment for aspiring dancers. Parents and visitors are welcomed into a beautiful reception and waiting area. The building also includes offices for administrative staff and a conference room, supporting Texas Ballet Theater’s operations in Dallas.
