The Texas Ballet Theater Summer Intensive is designed to refine technique, artistic expression and musicality to prepare well-rounded, classically trained dancers for a professional career. Over the course of our summer programs, students ages 11-22 take part in a concentrated, comprehensive program with TBT Artistic Staff, faculty, and renowned guest instructors. The program takes place in Fort Worth, Texas.
Admission to the Summer Intensive is by audition only. Please scroll to the Auditions section on this page for more information.
The Summer Intensive features a ballet-focused, comprehensive curriculum inspired by the Royal Academy of Dance. They are accompanied by the directors of our Professional Division programs, our school principals, and exceptional guest artists from across the U.S. Past guest artists have included Lauren Anderson, Krissy Richmond, Janie Parker, Bernard Gaddis, Priscilla Nathan-Murphy, and others.
