Train With Us

Studio Training Company

A robust training program for dancers pursuing a professional career in ballet.

An Elite Training Program

Intended for elite dancers ages 16-22. Dancers train 6 days per week at TBTS Fort Worth and Dallas with a focus in classical technique, pointe, variations and modern dance. Classes and rehearsals are led by TBT School Faculty and Artistic Staff, along with guest artists, giving dancers the unique opportunity to work with TBT’s esteemed Artistic Staff – including Artistic Director Laureate Ben Stevenson, O.B.E., and Acting Artistic Director Tim O’Keefe.

Opportunity to Excel

At the discretion of the Artistic Staff, Studio Training Company dancers are given opportunities to perform in Texas Ballet Theater productions. The STC also rehearses classical and contemporary repertoire and performs throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The daily STC schedule is modeled after the daily Texas Ballet Theater class and rehearsal schedule, making this program best for students who have completed high school or are completing high school through online classes.

Performances have included Peter and the Wolf at Bass Performance Hall and Winspear Opera House, Dallas Dances at the Moody Performance Hall, Dance Planet at Booker T.Washington HSPVA, and Texas Ballet Theater School’s fall and spring performances.

Dancers also have the opportunity to attend advanced level classes at TBTS for additional technique training in the evenings and on Saturdays. STC alumni have gone on to dance with Texas Ballet Theater, Ballet Arkansas, Belhaven University, Charlotte Ballet, Columbia City Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, and San Diego Ballet, among others.
