Inspired by legendary choreographer Martha Graham’s wrenching elegy in movement, Lamentation, three distinctive guest choreographers have created their own interpretations as part of the Graham Trust’s continuing commemoration of the tragedy of 9/11.  

Among Martha Graham’s last works and set to the music of Scott Joplin, the exuberance and whimsy of Maple Leaf Rag will thrill audiences of all ages.

Australian choreographer Natalie Weir’s Jabula celebrates motion and dance through a vibrant combination of choral, percussion, and traditional African music.
