Bass Performance Hall is the crown jewel of Fort Worth, a city which boasts the nation’s third largest cultural district. Renowned for its superb acoustics and exceptional sight lines, Bass Hall rivals the exceptional performance halls of the world.

Photography and audio/video recording

Taking photos and videos during a performance are strictly prohibited. However, you may take a photo during curtain call at the end of the show. We also encourage you to take photos with friends and family at our photo stations in the lobby!

Doors

Bass Performance Hall opens one hour before performance time. Those visiting Bass Hall are encouraged to arrive 45 minutes early to explore the venue, locate their seats, and enjoy a drink.

Come early, stay after

Spend some time in the heart of Fort Worth. Downtown is home to many places to shop, eat, and stay.

Attire

There is no specific dress code enforced at the ballet. Some patrons attend in jeans while others wear tuxedos and ball gowns. Generally, opening night performances are more formal and matinees are more casual.

Bass Hall offers a complimentary coat check on the east side of the Grand Salon, and opera glasses can be rented from the gift shop.

Bag restrictions

Bass Hall allows patrons to bring small bags and purses that fit comfortably under your seat. Oversized purses and bags are not permitted. All persons and bags are subject to search and screening before entering the building, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. For more information, visit basshall.com/security.

Latecomers

Please be prompt. Late arrivals may not be seated until intermission. Late seating will vary depending on the production.

Booster Seats

Available for families with small children on a first come, first serve basis.

PARKING

In addition to multiple paid parking venues in the area, we recommend the following options:

Valet
Located on Calhoun and Commerce between 4th and 5th Streets. Cost is $20 per vehicle. Pre-paid valet is available for select performances. Valet services are available 90 minutes before the performance begins.

All vehicles must be retrieved no later than 30 minutes after the performance ends. Call the Bass Performance Hall’s Patron Services Team at 817-212-4280 for availability and to pre-pay for valet parking.

777 Main Parking Garage
Located at 601 Commerce Street with entrances on 5th and 6th Streets. Free parking is available on weekdays after 6 PM and weekends after 10 AM.

City Center Garage II
Located at 400 Jones Street. Free parking is available after 6 PM and all day on weekends.

Light Rail

Bass Performance Hall is located less than half a mile away from the Fort Worth Central Station, served by both the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) and TEXRail. After leaving the station, head northwest on Jones Street and turn left on 4th Street.

Security

All persons and bags are subject to search and screening before entering the building, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. To expedite the security screening process, please remove keys, cell phones, and any other large metal objects from your pockets and bags or purses. Alternative accommodations for security screening will be provided to those who need it. Guests who refuse screening will be denied entry.

AT&T Performing Arts Center

AT&T Performing Arts Center is  home to the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, a 21st century reinterpretation of the traditional “horseshoe” shaped opera house, engineered specifically for the performance of opera and musical theatre with stages that perfectly suit the performance of ballet. The campus also includes the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, an innovative performance space that can be shaped into a number of performance and seating configurations.

COME EARLY

The AT&T Performing Arts Center campus is in the heart of the Dallas Arts District. Grab a bite to eat or take in the sights before coming to the show.

Doors

AT&T Performing Arts Center lobbies open 90 minutes prior to curtain, and the doors to the audience chambers open approximately 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the performance.

Attire

There is no specific dress code enforced at the ballet. Some patrons attend in jeans while others wear tuxedos and ball gowns. Generally, opening night performances are more formal and matinees are more casual.

Winspear and Wyly offer a coat check during colder months and times of inclement weather.

Bag Restrictions

Currently, there are no bag restrictions at the Winspear Opera House or Wyly Theatre.

Lexus Red Parking
Located beneath Winspear. Parking passes are available for advance purchase or may be purchased at the entrance on the day of the performance as capacity allows.

Lexus Silver Parking
Located beneath Wyly. Parking passes may be purchased at the entrance on the day of the performance as capacity allows.

Parking at One Arts Plaza
Paid garage parking is just a short walk away from the Winspear and offers convenient access to the restaurants in the One Arts Plaza courtyard.

Light Rail

AT&T Performing Arts Center is located less than half a mile away from the DART‘s Pearl/Arts District Station. After leaving the station, head northwest on Pearl Street and turn right on Flora Street. The Pearl/Arts District Station is served by all DART lines: Red, Blue, Green, and Orange.

Guide dogs

AT&T Performing Arts Center has a strict no pets policy, but all service animals are welcome.

Security

All persons and bags are subject to search and screening before entering the building, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. To expedite the security screening process, please remove keys, cell phones, and any other large metal objects from your pockets and bags or purses. Alternative accommodations for security screening will be provided to those who need it. Guests who refuse screening will be denied entry.
