At Texas Ballet Theater, we strive to make every patron experience enjoyable and unforgettable. Our volunteers are crucial to helping us achieve this goal, whether they are greeting patrons, sharing information about TBT, hosting special events, working at will call, or assisting in the Nutcracker boutique. Without the commitment and kindness of our dedicated volunteers, we would not be able to create the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that our patrons have come to love.
It is each individual’s willingness to serve that makes our volunteer program successful. By applying to volunteer with TBT, you indicate your commitment to active participation, your intent to fulfill the responsibilities of your role, and your affirmation of the core values of Texas Ballet Theater.
Texas Ballet Theater volunteers should demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for the performing arts, a willingness to serve all patrons with care and respect, a professional demeanor, and punctuality in all assignments.
Additionally, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check. Volunteers must commit to at least 8 volunteer shifts within a calendar year—at least 3 of which must occur during The Nutcracker—and attend a brief training session to build confidence in their roles.
