Professional Division Programs

Professional Training Division

The Professional Training Division offers advanced dancers ages 14-19 comprehensive, year-round dance training. With a mix of both daytime and evening classes, the PTD program is designed to help teenage students balance intense ballet training with academic and other pursuits. Dancers train six days a week at the Richardson School, with the opportunity to audition for additional performance opportunities throughout the Metroplex.

Studio Training Company

The Studio Training Company is designed for elite dancers ages 16-22. Through high-caliber ballet training, performance opportunities, and artistic coaching, the goal is to help dancers launch professional ballet careers. Classes are held six days a week at the Fort Worth School, typically during daytime hours, making this program best for students who have completed high school or are completing high school through online classes.

Men's Scholarship Program

Our Men’s Scholarship Program offers aspiring male dancers ages 14-22 the extraordinary opportunity to receive uninterrupted ballet training, year-round, with renowned instructors and mentors.

As a Men’s Scholarship Program student, you will be part of Texas Ballet Theater’s Men’s and Professional Divisions. Placement into our Professional Training Division (ages 14-19) and Studio Training Company (ages 16-22) is determined by TBT’s esteemed artistic staff upon audition. You will take men’s partnering and technique classes and receive mentorship from Texas Ballet Theater’s world-renowned faculty.

There are a limited number of competitive scholarships available. For more information, please contact us at ProfessionalDivision@TexasBallet.org.

*At this time, TBT cannot accept international students for our year-round programs as we do not currently have the ability to issue student visas.*
