DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TX – Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) unveils its highly anticipated 2026–2027 Season Wednesday, March 4 at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, officially launching subscription sales for new and renewing patrons.
The annual Season Announcement marks a celebratory milestone for the organization and its supporters—offering season subscribers and donors an exclusive first look at the inspiring lineup that reflects TBT’s commitment to artistic excellence, innovation, and storytelling at the highest level.

Advancing the Future of Dance in North Texas
For decades, Texas Ballet Theater has occupied an illustrious place in the cultural landscape of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. With an unwavering commitment to excellence in dance education and performance, TBT proudly offers exceptional programming for aspiring dancers and audiences alike.
To support its continued growth and deliver world-class training and performances, Texas Ballet Theater has completed an expansion within the Dallas market and continues to advance construction on a fully reimagined, state-of-the-art building in Fort Worth. Set to open in spring 2026, Phase I of the newly reconstructed Fort Worth facility will feature a dedicated dance lab for company and student productions, four spacious class studios, school dressing rooms, a family waiting area, expanded costume production space, and administrative offices. Phase II, scheduled for completion in fall 2026, will introduce two professional company studios, locker and dressing rooms, a company lounge, a physical therapy suite, and a Pilates studio.
TBT’s Interim Executive Director Jill Caughron comments “This expansion and next chapter marks a defining moment in TBT’s evolution. At this stage of our growth, the demand for our programming, our company, and our training within our schools in Dallas, Richardson and Fort Worth has outpaced our capacity. To continue serving North Texas with excellence, we must invest in the infrastructure that sustains artistry, education, and community impact at the highest level.
The buildings represent far more than square footage. It is a declaration of permanence. It signals leadership in our region’s cultural landscape. It reflects our commitment to accessibility—welcoming more students, expanding programming, and removing barriers to participation. It is an investment not only in TBT, but in the creative future of North Texas.”
TBT is deeply committed to community impact. Through partnerships with more than 65 schools in Dallas and Tarrant County, TBT delivers free five-week beginner ballet programs to students who may not otherwise have access to arts education. Each year, more than 35,000 students experience the magic of live performance through TBT’s Student Matinee Series and in partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation, TBT also donates tickets to currently serving military members, veterans, and their families.
