FORT WORTH, Texas (January 30, 2020) – Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) has suspended all engagements with choreographer Liam Scarlett due to allegations of misconduct at the Royal Ballet Company in London.
TBT has halted all future engagements with Scarlett pending the results of the investigation into these allegations. This includes the production of Scarlett’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, scheduled for May 2020 in both Dallas and Fort Worth, which would have been Scarlett’s first piece performed by TBT.
The company will inform the public and all ticket holders regarding programming updates as soon as information is available.
TBT is dedicated to creating a safe environment for its artists, students, staff and patrons. The company has a strict code of conduct and a zero-tolerance policy.
