Frequently Asked Questions and Policies

Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets for Texas Ballet Theater performances can be purchased through this website by clicking on the “Buy Tickets” button or you may call 877-828-9200 to purchase over the phone.  Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Ballet Box Office in Fort Worth (6845 Green Oaks Road) or Dallas (2100 Ross Avenue, Suite 110) during our regular box office hours.  We recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance of the performance, since many of our shows sell out.  Available tickets may be purchased at the Box Office on the day of show.

Where can I purchase season tickets?
Texas Ballet Theater offers several season ticket packages.  By purchasing season tickets you will receive priority seating, free ticket exchanges, a discount on tickets, special parking privileges, invitations to special Ballet events and a discount at the Texas Ballet Theater boutique.  For information on season ticket packages, please call our Subscriber Courtesy Line at 877-828-9200.

Can I exchange my tickets?
Yes.  Individual performance tickets may be exchanged for a $10 per ticket exchange fee.  Upgrade fees may apply depending on the seating location.  Tickets must be exchanged for another date or time of the same performance.  Tickets may be exchanged in person at the Ballet Box Offices in Fort Worth or Dallas.

Season ticket holders may exchange their tickets free of charge by calling the Subscriber Courtesy Line at
877-828-9200.  Season tickets must be exchanged at least 48 hours prior to the performance.

I have tickets but I’m out of town during all the performances.  What can I do?
If exchanging your tickets for another performance is not possible, remember that Texas Ballet Theater tickets make excellent gifts!  Pass them on to a friend for their enjoyment.  You can also donate your tickets back to the Ballet for a tax donation letter.  To donate your tickets, call 877-828-9200 at least 48 hours prior to the performance.  Texas Ballet Theater is unable to refund ticket purchases.

Is the ballet appropriate for children?
Children are welcome to attend Texas Ballet Theater performances as long as they are not disruptive to other patrons.  It has been our experience that children most enjoy the ballet at age 5 and up.  Please understand that theater policy dictates that every person attending a performance must have a ticket—even children and "babies in arms". Click for further information.

Do you offer discounted tickets for children?
Texas Ballet Theater does not offer a child discount on tickets.

What time does the performance hall open?
Performance halls typically open one hour before the performance.  The Box Office also opens one hour prior to the performance.
