Texas Ballet Theater School is embarking on a new frontier this year by performing the annual student showcase in the famed Will Rogers Memorial Center on May 21, 2008. We will also hold a new event, the Spring Performance Dinner before the show at the Cowgirl Museum as another way to support Texas Ballet Theater School’s financial aid programs. This unique event is being co-chaired by Stephanie von Stein and Melissa Staniford. We hope this will be the start of a new tradition with a festive dinner before the student showcase performance. Students will be warming up and preparing themselves at the theater while guests enjoy dinner and conversation at the Cowgirl Museum. There will be a small silent auction held in the lobby of the theater which also benefits the school. The student showcase performance will include classical and contemporary works, many of which are created specifically for this evening. All levels of the school will be represented with feature presentations by the trainees of the company.

Dinner Prices:
$3500 with Artistic Director, Ben Stevenson O.B.E., includes 4 tickets to performance
$1500 with a dancer of Texas Ballet Theater, includes 2 tickets to performance
$1000 table for 8 – 10 people, includes 2 tickets to performance
Individual tickets: $75 each, performance tickets are separate
Time:
Cocktails begin at 5:15 PM
Dinner is at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM
Transportation to the theater is provided courtesy of Saturn of DFW
Performance at Will Rogers Memorial Center is at 7:30 PM

Additional Performance Opportunities
Students are offered the opportunity to audition for Texas Ballet Theater’s annual production of Ben Stevenson’s The Nutcracker. Roles are limited and attendance of rehearsals is mandatory. Other performance opportunities may be available throughout the season for Advanced Level students.
