A native of Houston, TX, Brett Young studied at University of Oklahoma School of Dance. There he was the recipient of a John and Mary Nichols scholarship and named outstanding senior for School and Dance. Mr. Young favorite ballet roles includes “The Stranger” in Oklahoma University’s School of Music and Dance collaboration for Carmina Burana, performing in George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15 and “Lead Soldier” in Ben Stevenson’s Camouflage. This is Brett’s first season with Texas Ballet Theater.
