A native of Flower Mound, Heather Kotelenets began her training at Ballet Conservatory in Flower Mound and the Texas Ballet Theater School in Dallas. She was offered a full scholarship to the Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. Since joining the company in 2005, Mrs. Kotelenets has enjoyed performing roles in many of Ben Stevenson’s ballets, including Cinderella in Cinderella, Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty, in Three Preludes, in former company member Peter Zweifel’s Love Always Remains and in the Pas de Trois in Glen Tetley’s Voluntaries. She has been married to company member Alexander Kotelenets for six years and they welcomed their first child in February 2016.

I would make up dances in my living room, seemed appropriate

Teaching. It’s nice to pass on your wisdom and see progress.

Go on vacation and adventures with my husband.

Taking our dog to the park.

Feeling the energy from the audience.
