Alex Danna

Alex Danna began dancing at the age of 16 in New Orleans, Louisiana with the New Orleans Ballet Association. He then attended the Houston Ballet Academy for two years on scholarship. In 2015, he joined Texas Ballet Theater’s Professional Division where he had works such as Hanky Panky and Sylvia choreographed for him by Artistic Director Ben Stevenson. In 2016, he officially became a member of Texas Ballet Theater.

I began as part of a theater program.

My favorite ballet to see is Petite Mort.

Dracula – I aspire to be Ben Stevenson’s Dracula

Working with and learning from so many people – the continuous learning from partners.
