Serenade , by George Balanchine, is the epitome of beauty. Graceful and cool, this ballet is an abstract representation of love. No story accompanies Serenade; Balanchine himself said that the piece was just "a dance in the light of the moon." Balanchine choreographed this piece for his students at the School of American Ballet. The choreography evolved around the original cast of students and culminated in a piece that became a “milestone in American dance.”
L is an upbeat piece by our own Ben Steveson. The energy is not only seen, but heard! Come check it out!
