When he’s not dancing, Mr. Priolo has a passion for designing and making jewelry.

Originally from California, Lucas Priolo began dancing as way to stay fit for playing baseball.  He discovered a love of dance and trained at Dance Theatre Seven before joining Houston Ballet.  Since becoming a member of Texas Ballet Theater, he has enjoyed dancing “Romeo” in Ben Stevenson’s Romeo and Juliet, “Prince Siegfried” in Swan Lake, “Marc Antony” in Cleopatra, “Prince” in The Sleeping Beauty as well as roles in Cinderella, Second before Ground and Mozart Requiem.  Mr. Priolo is married to company member Julie Gumbinner. This is his fourth season.
