Ms. Gumbinner and her husband are expecting their first child this fall.
Dancing runs in the genes in Julie Gumbinner’s family. Coming from a family of ballet dancers, Ms. Gumbinner begins her fourth season with Texas Ballet Theater following a principal position with Houston Ballet. She has enjoyed performing for audiences in Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Manon, Cleopatra, Dracula, Swan Lake, Sinfonietta, Ghost Dances and Without Words. Ms. Gumbinner is married to company member Lucas Priolo.
