Point of Interest
If she weren’t a dancer, Ms. Freitas says she would express her creative side as a hair and make-up artist.

Jessica Freitas begins her fifth season with Texas Ballet Theater after two years at Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy.  Her early training started in the West Coast as this California native trained at Long Beach Ballet Arts Center and the West Coast Conservatory of Ballet.  Ms. Freitas enjoyed dancing “Harlots” in Romeo and Juliet, "Pas de Trois" and “Cygnets” in Swan Lake, as well as “Spring Fairy” in Cinderella and “Lead Flower” in The Nutcracker.
