If she weren’t a dancer, Ms. Hooper says she’d express herself as a writer or journalist.
Jennifer Hooper, a California native, trained on full scholarship at Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy, and then trained at City Ballet of San Diego and Scripps Performing Arts Center. Since joining Texas Ballet Theater, Ms. Hooper has enjoyed performing in Bartók, “Snow Queen” and “Arabian” in The Nutcracker, “Spring Fairy” in Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella, “Four Cygnets” in Swan Lake, and “Pas de Trois”, “Fairy Charm” and “Fairy Generosity” in The Sleeping Beauty.
