As experienced in the kitchen as she is on the stage, Ms. Tseng says “I’m the best Italian cook in town!”

A little bit of Italy comes to Texas Ballet Theater with Enrica Guana Tseng.  Born in Chiavari, Italy, she began an impressive career abroad dancing with the Teatro Comunale in Florence, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro Nuovo’s Company (Italy) and as a principal dancer with Universal Ballet Company (Seoul, South Korea).  Among the numerous roles she has enjoyed dancing include: “Odette/Odile” in Swan Lake, “Giselle” in Giselle, Mr. Balanchine’s Serenade, Theme and Variations and Mr. Stevenson’s Four Last Song, Moonbeams and Coppélia. This is her tenth season with Texas Ballet Theater.
